As a participant in the Harrisburg Clinical Externship Program, you will kick start your legal career by gaining valuable experience while cultivating relationships that could be important to your professional future.
As an extern, you earn between two and four credit hours per semester by working in a law office for 10 to 20 hours per week. In addition to your work, you will participate in a weekly classroom component that examines the role of the lawyer in society. Placements in the Clinical Externship Program also fulfill requirements for certificate programs offered by the
Law and Government Institute. As an extern, you could work in one of the following agencies:
