Attorney Monica Cliatt has worked in the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic
since 2005. In addition to supervising students in the clinic, she has taught Juvenile Delinquency Law, Legal Methods III-Criminal Law, as well as Criminal Law in Widener’s Jurist Academy for prelaw students, and coached a trial advocacy team. She has lectured at community forums on issues involving juvenile delinquency and provided legal analysis for reporters to educate the public. Prior to working in the law school’s clinic, she worked as a staff attorney for MidPenn Legal Services in York, Pennsylvania, as the Appellate Attorney for the York County Public Defender’s Office and as Senior Public Defender in the Dauphin County Public Defender’s Office.
