Workshop Overview
As student demands for academic assistance increase, and law schools face ever growing constraints on the allocation of resources within budgets, we as faculty and program providers seem to work even harder to do more with less. This workshop invites participants to explore and share innovative approaches to legal skill development, both in terms of academic support and bar exam preparation, as one way of pooling our community’s resources.

The agenda for the workshop will be driven by topics proposed by you. It is not necessary that we have all the answers, only that we share our thoughts, questions, and materials in a constructive and supportive environment.

There is no fee for this workshop, and we are happy to provide breakfast, snacks and lunch.

Presenter Information
All workshop presenters are requested to submit a presentation topic title (as you would like for it to appear on the agenda) by Friday, April 3, 2009. All presentation materials to be copied and distributed to participants must be received by April 17, 2009.

A cab ride from the Wilmington Amtrak Station should take about 15 minutes and cost between $20-25. The drive from the Philadelphia International Airport takes about 40 minutes and should cost between $35-45.

Rooms have been blocked at the Doubletree Hotel (approx. 1 block from campus) until March 31st. The cost for reservation is $99.00 plus an 8% occupancy tax. Reservations can be made directly with the Doubletree Hotel – Wilmington at 302-478-6000 or call toll free at 1-800-222-TREE (8733).
