Bar Facts - The Delaware Bar Examination
Bar Examination Format
The 2013 Delaware Bar Examination is scheduled for July 29, 30 and 31. The examination consists of three parts: the Delaware Essay section, the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), and the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE).
Bar Exam Applications
Applications should be filed no later than May 15. No applications will be accepted after that date. The filing fees for applications filed on or before April 1 are $700 (not admitted in another jurisdiction) and $800 (admitted in another jurisdiction). After April 1 but before May 15, fees increase to $1400 (not admitted in another jurisdiction) and $1600 (admitted in another jurisdiction).
Applications must be electronically filed with the Board on forms provided by the Board online.
