4-Year Program (Part-time)
Widener Law’s 4-Year Program is designed for students who wish to earn their degrees on a part-time basis. Classes meet three nights a week, and upper class students typically maintain that pace so long as they attend at least one summer session. The 4-Year Program’s daytime schedule varies from year to year. (Explore sample class schedules for Delaware and Harrisburg.)

Degree Requirements
To earn the Juris Doctor degree, you must complete a minimum of 88 credit hours of coursework. Both the Delaware and Harrisburg curricula are designed to help you develop a fundamental understanding of law and the legal process. You may focus your studies on particular aspects of the law by selecting elective courses related to your interests or by pursuing a dual-degree or certificate.

Please review the requirements for admission before applying. Additional information for International and transfer students are available on the admissions page, and if you have any questions or problems that you need answered, please contact the Admissions Office.
