Moot Court Honor Society (Harrisburg)
The Widener-Harrisburg Moot Court Honor Society offers great preparation for your professional life as an attorney. Moot court allows you to further develop the oral argument and writing skills that you learned in the classroom and to use those skills to represent a client in a realistic appeal from a trial court. As a member of moot court, you will participate in exciting competitions with students from other law schools while working closely with professors and alumni to improve your advocacy skills.

If you’re interested in participating, we encourage you to tryout early in the fall by submitting a written brief and then making oral arguments before the Executive Board of the society. The Board then offers membership to those students who display a high level of ability and motivation. You can also achieve membership by performing exceptionally well in the Delaware-Harrisburg Moot Court Competition.
