Welcome to the Democratic Law Caucus' (DLC) web site. The members of the Democratic Law Caucus, in an effort to build a better America - one of freedom, justice, opportunity and equality for all - are dedicated to organizing the participation of Democratic law students at Widener Law. Our mission is an invitation to all law students - regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion, physical handicap, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status - who share in the ambitions of the Democratic Party and desire to promote them to the fullest of their abilities.
The DLC is in its second year and has experienced increased membership, participation, and enthusiasm. In accord with our mission statement this year's DLC has hosted United States Senator Joe Biden to speak to the entire Law School community, has undertaken a voting rights service project, sponsored a town hall election forum, and will be holding an Election Night party. We invite any and all to join our organization and wish everyone success in their endeavors!
