Justinian Society
The Justinian Society at Widener Law is a solid group of student body who unite as an Italian-American organization. The society provides a social and professional outlet for law students interested in legal issues surrounding Italian-Americans. Our mission is to increase awareness by inspiring a need for a deeper understanding of political, cultural, historical and legal roles of Italian-Americans.

One of our main goals is to establish a networking exchange among our Alumni and our members. Our Annual Alumni Reception, held in the Spring Semester, enables our members to make contacts and facilitate relationships with prestigious lawyers and judges who are not only distinguished in the legal community, but also among Widener's finest.

The Justinian Society is very active both on campus and in the community. Each semester we participate in a charity event. Past semesters have included making arts and crafts with the children at the DuPont Children's Hospital located in Wilmington and raising money for and participating in the National Multiple Sclerosis Walk. We are also actively involved in Diversity Week held on campus each year and take an annual trip to the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.

We are looking forward to a great year and encourage all interested new and returning students to join our society!
