The Latin American Law Student Association (“LALSA”) is a school organization dedicated to serving Widener University School of Law students, alumni and the community at large. LALSA endeavors to achieve the academic success and commitment to community of Latinos in the law school and it strives to develop mechanisms to facilitate the exchange of Latinos involved in all segments of the legal profession.
LALSA is also devoted to promote the recruitment and the retention of Latinos in the law school and its goal is to advance the educational, cultural, professional, and social development of the Latino law students, as well as, to promote diversity at Widener. LALSA is actively involved with various legal societies and local Latino/a bar associations.
