The Republican Law Caucus strives to provide a forum for students who believe in Republican ideals, such as personal responsibility, equality of opportunity, and an entrepreneurial spirit, to interact and collaborate with peers who share similar values. Our mission is to foster productive and informed political dialogue and to contribute positively to the Widener University community.
Founded in 2001, the Republican Law Caucus hosts several events throughout the year, including a service project and seminars facilitated by prominent leaders who address timely state and federal issues. All students and faculty are invited and encouraged to join us at our events.
Please contact our directors with any questions you may have about membership or the Caucus's events.
"It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work -- work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. "
