The Academic Success Program (ASP) is co-directed by full-time professors
Alice Eakin and
Maryann Brown. Both co-directors teach in the Program and see students on an individual basis for evaluation and assistance.
The Academic Success Program is designed to help all students become more effective in the rigorous academic environment of law school. To that end, students are taught essential skills through a menu of workshops, in formal two-credit courses, and on an individual basis.
Students who seek Academic Success services outside the formal programming generally meet individually with one of the ASP Co-Directors. These meetings may be as simple as a single counseling session on time management and as involved as a series of practice exams with written and oral feedback from the professor. In addition, all students are welcome to use the
ASP Resource Library.
