- This podcast provides students with a “read aloud” of the Coulter case demonstrating “active” reading skills so that you may get an idea of how an “experienced” legal reader might process information contained in the case.
- This reading highlights questions, details and legal issues the reader considers in attempting to determine the “value” of the opinion to the overall orientation assignment topic.
Academic use:
This podcast can be used
- in conjunction with the Introduction to Law orientation practice exam as an additional example of case reading and analysis
- generally as an introductory example of “active” case reading for new law students
