The Academic Support Program
provides students with individual academic counseling, workshops, tutoring and formal courses designed to teach important legal skills. Workshops designed to teach study and exam taking skills are offered to all first-year students during the first semester of law school. In the second semester, first-year students struggling with the academic adjustment to law school participate in a formal class designed to develop skills such as critical reading and exam preparation. Formal academic assistance programs are also offered to second-year students. Students interested in receiving academic support outside of the formal programs are encouraged to meet with a member of the Academic Support Program staff.
