Important Dates and Deadlines*
August:
- Fall recruitment deadlines begin.
- Fall recruitment on campus interviews begin for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students.
September:
- First year students register for Mentoring Program.
- Third year students apply for federal judicial clerkships online through OSCAR**.
October:
- Mentoring Kick-Off Event.
- 1st year student orientation to the Career Development Office.
November:
- 1st year students may schedule appointments with a CDO Counselor.
December:
- First year students in the 3-Year Program can begin applying for legal employment.
February – April:
- Spring recruitment on-campus interviews begin for all students.

**Some State Appellate courts will consider applications for postgraduate judicial clerkships as early as the second year of law school. Some will continue to seek applicants throughout the summer and into the fall of the third year.
