The Harrisburg Campus, a nonresidential site for graduate study, commenced operation in fall 1989. Approximately 264 full-time and 171 part-time graduate students are enrolled. The faculty of the campus numbers 22 full-time and 27 part-time, with the administrative exempt and non-exempt staff numbering approximately 38. The number of contracted services personnel in housekeeping, food service, bookstore, and security is usually 8 per day.
The campus is located near the Progress Avenue Exit of Interstate 81 (within 15 minutes from downtown Harrisburg). The law library/classroom building is the hub of academic activity on the 21-acre campus, which also contains a student center, an administration building, an additional library, and ample parking.
The academic facilities of the campus are open to all students, faculty, staff, guests, and other individuals as needed for the active conduct of the university's educational programs and in connection with business matters pertaining thereto. As a private institution, Widener University reserves the right to limit access to any facility at any time. Individuals not associated with the university by employment, as a student, or as a guest of an employee or student may be deemed to be trespassers.
