Michelle Pistone Discusses the Iraqi War Refugee Crisis

Professor Michele Pistone is a Professor of Law and Director of the Clinical Program. She teaches the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES). She spoke to the Widener Law faculty about the situation of the 2 million Iraqi war refugees, the difficulties they've encountered in finding new homes in Syria and Jordan, as well as American and elsewhere around the world, and the application of immigration laws to this group, and the work her clinic is doing to help some of these individuals and families.
