SBA Teams with People to People International to Display Murals from Around the World

On Thursday, April 8th at 1:30 p.m., the Delaware Campus Student Bar Association teamed with the Delaware Chapter of People to People International to an unveil a series of murals produced by young students from countries around the world. The murals will hang in the student lounge off Main Street until the end of April.

SBA President Destiny Prater offered brief remarks thanking the People to People representatives on hand for allowing Widener Law to display the murals. Vice Dean J. Patrick Kelly, himself a member of People to People International’s Delaware Chapter, thanked People to People for working with the school to help sponsor a number of events and speakers over the years. Edward L. Tucker, President of the Delaware Chapter of People to People International, and another representative from People to People discussed the murals and how they came to be.

The murals were created by kids ranging in age from as young as ten to as old as sixteen and came from a variety of countries including Mexico, Uzbekistan, Romania, Russia, Poland, and the Ukraine.
