Professor Jill Family to Speak at Penn State Immigration Symposium

will speak as part of the “Chronicles of Adjudication” panel at Penn State University Dickinson School of Law’s “Immigration Adjudications: Court Reform & Beyond” symposium on Thursday, March 18th. The symposium is being held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Greg Sutliff Auditorium of the Lewis Katz Building at University Park, PA.
“I am so pleased to be a part of this gathering of experts to discuss the substantial problems plaguing the immigration adjudication system. The health of the system is not only important to immigrants, but to anyone concerned about the failure of an administrative law system," says Professor Family.
The symposium features four panels, each examining a different aspect of immigration adjudication. The panels will also explore and discuss potential solutions, including the possibility of creating an independent immigration court. The program will also be available as a
