On Wednesday, July 27th, Widener Law’s
Admissions Office hosted a Wilmington Blue Rocks Social for incoming students at Frawley Stadium.
The event kicked off with an all-you-can-eat picnic in the stadium’s picnic area down the first base line. Incoming students had the opportunity to speak with Admissions officers as well as representatives from
Career Development,
Financial Aid, and the
Office of Student Affairs. The students also enjoyed the opportunity to get to know their fellow classmates before the beginning of the semester.
Following the picnic, students, faculty, and staff took in the game between the local minor league team, the Wilmington Blue Rocks, and the Potomac Nationals. Both teams play in the Class A Advanced Carolina League. The Blue Rocks are an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They played their first season in Wilmington in 1993.
Student Turgut Yasar thanked Admissions Counselor
