Dean Ammons Speaks to Students at Richard Stockton College

On Wednesday, November 16th, Widener Law Dean Linda L. Ammons, Assistant Dean for Admissions Barbara Ayars, and Delaware campus 4ED student Jana DiCosmo traveled to Richard Stockton College in New Jersey to speak to students about law school.

The delegation from Widener Law enjoyed lunch with Stockton President Dr. Herman J. Saatkamp, Jr. and some of Stockton's deans and professors. Dr. Saatkamp became the fourth President of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2003. He is also a Professor of Philosophy and a Senior Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Bioethics. Saatkamp earned his B.A. from Carson-Newman College, M.Div. from Southern Theological Seminary, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.

After lunch, Dean Ammons spoke to interested Stockton students about Widener Law's programs and specialties, and Assistant Dean Ayars spoke to them about the application process. DiCosmo, a 2008 graduate and valedictorian of her graduating class at Richard Stockton College, spoke to students about how much she has enjoyed her experiences as a student at Widener Law.
