On Sunday, July 31st, the
Admissions Office hosted incoming students at Metro Bank Park on City Island in Harrisburg to see the Harrisburg Senators play baseball against the Binghamton Mets. While Harrisburg lost the game 5-2, the event gave the new students a great opportunity to meet each other as well as several young alumni.
“The purpose of events like this is to strengthen bonds among incoming students as well as our alumni, said Harrisburg Director of Admissions
Eric M. Kniskern, adding, “We want them to feel good about their decision to attend Widener Law and to know that they there is a supportive network for them even before they attend their first class.”
"Had a great time at the game today. I didn't watch the game but made some friends and had some great conversations," wrote one student on Facebook.
