The Harrisburg campus Federalist Society held a gun shooting competition fundraiser to benefit Disabled American Veterans on Saturday, November 5th.

The event took place at the Harrisburg Angler’s and Hunters’ Association but was also sponsored by the Keystone Armory, located in Edinboro, PA, which is owned and operated by veterans.

Each student was asked to donate ten dollars in order to participate. A demonstration on gun safety was given before the students were given the opportunity to shoot 50 rounds of ammo with a 22’ rifle at a target. The Keystone Armory supplied the ammunition for the event.

The participants ranged from seasoned firearms users to those who had never shot a gun before. The Federalist society raised over one hundred dollars at the event for the Disabled American Veterans charity.

Third year law student Hunter Lewis said, "The event accomplished what it set out to do. We raised money for veterans and had a fun time shooting."
