Alumni gathered at the Public
House in New York City for the law school’s annual networking reception. This
year’s guest speaker was Richard White, Esq. ’90, who was appointed by Governor
Cuomo as the first Deputy Commissioner of the Tenant Protection Unit for the
New York State Homes & Community Renewal. Alumni from all campuses and all
decades of the law school’s history enjoyed his comments which focused on his
role in state government and how Widener Law has helped shaped him into the
leader he is today. At the October 17, 2012, reception, Deputy Commissioner
White noted that networking among fellow graduates is a powerful way to build
both your personal and professional networks. Widener Law alumni events present
a prime opportunity to do just that, so we hope to see
you at our next regional reception! For more information on New
York City alumni events, contact Ashley Barton at 717-541-3974.
