On Tuesday, February 28, 2012, the Harrisburg campus Black Law Students Association
will host “Making History: African-Americans in Central Pennsylvania’s Legal Profession.” The event will take place beginning at 4:00 p.m. in L202, and refreshments will be served.
A diverse panel of speakers will discuss the impact that being African American has had on their journeys the legal profession as well as the impact they have had on Central Pennsylvania’s legal community. History is constantly developing, and each of the panelists is currently contributing to black history in Central Pennsylvania.
Speakers for the event will include:
- Peter Speaks from the Pennsylvania Senate.
- Cheryl Walker-Davis from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
- Jennifer Allen of the Dauphin County District Attorney's office.
