Harrisburg Moot Court Team Enjoys Success at Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition

GavelPhotoBrowntones235pxThe Widener Law community congratulates students T’rese Evancho and Steve Miller for earning the 2nd best brief and advancing to the round of sixteen at the 24th Annual Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition that was held in Albany, New York at the Albany Law School from Ferbuary 23rd through the 25th.

The competition is held each year in memory of the late Domenick L. Gabrielli, who served as an Associate Judge for the New York State Court of Appeals. Twenty-three teams competed in the 2012 competition.

A second team from the Harrisburg campus of Amanda Chunko, Jessica Litke, and Ian Baxter also competed in the event. Legal Methods Professors Starla Williams and Amanda Smith as well as Professors Michael Cozzillio, Michael Dimino, G. Randy Lee, John L. Gedid, and Chris Robinette provided valuable coaching for the teams.
