LEI @ Widener Law Center offers a variety of opportunities to enhance professional and personal development. In addition to our
degree programs, non-matriculated students and alumni can investigate up to three LEI course offerings without applying for a specific program.
Non-matriculation allows students, alumni and practicing paralegals and Legal Nurse Consultant professionals the opportunity to discover areas of concentration. For example, paralegals can explore concentrations in
Estate Administration,
Corporate Law,
Health Law,
Litigation,
Real Estate,
Intellectual Property, and
Criminal Law - or any other area that may be of interest. Legal Nurse Consultants may explore a concentration in
Forensic Nursing.
Typically, students who choose the non-matriculation option go on to fully enroll as paralegal/LNC students. Alumni seeking new direction also choose to enroll in
certificates of completion with concentration in a number of fields. Finally, established paralegals and LNCs looking to advance their professional skills choose to take courses such as Internet Legal Research, Legal Research, Real Estate Title Search, Forensic Science, or Medical Malpractice.
