The paralegal studies certificate program provides specialty instruction for students already holding 60 college credits. The program focuses on legal research and writing, internet legal research, the mechanics of the civil litigation process and various specialized areas of practice such as probate and corporate law. Full-time students earn their credits over two semesters of study and part-time students earn their credits over four semesters. Each LEI @ Widener Law Center Class is three (3) credits. See also our

All Paralegal Certificates of Completion with Concentration have been approved by the American Bar Association.

Paralegal students may qualify for not only one, but all five Certificates of Completion with Concentration:Students holding 60 college credits, a Bachelor or an Associate Degree are provided the opportunity to expand their paralegal knowledge. Each concentration offers valuable courses which promote selected areas of study and provide practical training prior to graduation. The specialized courses develop paralegal skills and utilize both traditional classroom instruction and legal technology.
