The European Experience has NEW 2-Week Course Formats Available!
Widener Law offers several exciting summer abroad programs for credit. Students are invited to experience foreign cultures in order to gain a broader perspective on the law and how it functions in other parts of the world. Each program offers an exciting destination with plenty of iconic sights and attractions to see and explore.

Study Comparative and International Health Law, Topics in Global Health, or International Investment Law in beautiful Lausanne, Switzerland, outside of Geneva, a city famous as a center of global business and home to a multitude of international organizations. Bask in the history and atmosphere of Venice, Italy while studying Comparative Procedure, Evidence, and Trial Practice or topics in European Union Law.

Please note that there will not be a Nairobi program for the Summer of 2014.

Students who have participated in the past have said:

Of Venice
"It has been a brilliant cultural experience and a very good experience in general.”
"Italy is an amazing country . . . enjoy the people."

Of Lausanne
"It was amazing to interact with people from other cultures, learn about other countries, and 'grow up' culturally."
"I traveled and experienced different languages and cultures."
