Financial Aid Process: New Student
Following acceptance by the Admissions Committee, each applicant automatically receives the detailed instructions and forms required to apply for financial assistance. All financial aid applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Institutional Data Form. The FAFSA can be done online at http://www.fafsa.gov. Be sure to indicate the school code for the campus you are to attend. The code for the Delaware campus is B04724. The code for the Harrisburg campus is E00656.

The Widener Law Institutional Data Forms (J.D., LL.M., M.J. and L.E.I.) can be downloaded on the forms page.

Applicants intending to borrow through the Federal Direct Loan Program must also complete a Master Promissory Note.

Financial aid for entering students is awarded on a rolling basis, and it is recommended that applicants for admission begin the process of applying for aid as soon after application for admission as possible. Each applicant is evaluated for aid only after all required forms have been received and the applicant has been formally admitted to Widener Law.
