Moot Court Honor Society (Delaware)
The Moot Court Honor Society promotes excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing at the appellate level, and offers you a unique opportunity to develop practical skills that will serve you in the professional world. A prestigious student organization, the Moot Court Honor Society participates in interscholastic competitions such as the Honorable G. Fred DiBona Competition and the Distinguished Jurist Moot Court Competition. By participating, you will improve your oral advocacy and brief writing skills through direct competition with students from other law schools. Faculty work closely with the society to provide you with feedback and support. You can also gain academic credit for participation in interscholastic competitions or for other services to the organization.

You are invited to participate in the New Member Try Out Competition held early in the fall. If you participate in the annual G. Fred DiBona Competition and the Distinguished Jurist Moot Court Competition and advance to the semi-final round, you are also invited to join the society. Finally, each year during the spring, the Delaware Moot Court Honor Society sponsors the Ruby R. Vale Interschool Corporate Moot Court Competition, an interscholastic appellate moot court competition focusing on corporate law.
