Widener Law welcomed special guest Matthew J. Creme, Jr., the Pennsylvania Bar Association President-Elect, to its regional alumni gathering in Lancaster, PA. The Dean announced his attendance with great pleasure. Mr. Creme addressed the crowd after the Dean’s welcome, noting the importance of networking with fellow Pennsylvania attorneys and highlighting some of the special interest groups offered by the state’s bar association.
This is fifth consecutive year the law school has hosted a regional networking reception in Lancaster, PA. For the second year in a row, the event was held at the Red Rose on the corner of King and Duke Streets in the downtown area. In addition to Dean Ammons
and our special guest Matthew Creme, guests included alumni from both campuses, students from both campuses, and faculty members. Attendance at Lancaster events has experienced an increase of 229% in alumni attendees since the first event held in the region in 2007.
Widener Law thanks the event hostesses (Elizabeth Flaherty ’07, Sharon López ’93, and Angela Rieck ’05) for helping to plan the reception and thanks the Red Rose for allowing us to use their facility.
