CulhaneEqualityForum2011 PromoFrom Monday, April 25th through Sunday, May 1st, Philadelphia will play host once again to Equality Forum, “the largest annual national and international GLBT civil rights forum.” Professor John G. Culhane, Director of Widener Law’s Health Law Institute, will serve as the official blogger for the event for the third consecutive year.

Professor Culhane will be reporting on a range of panels, speakers, and events to take place as part of Equality Forum, and his posts will appear not only on his blog, WordinEdgewise, but also on 365gay.com, where he serves as a weekly columnist.

“It’s going to be available to a much broader audience. I think its good to give that kind of exposure to the event,” says Professor Culhane.

Professor Culhane will be writing primarily about the National Panels, which begin on Tuesday, April 26th. He will also be interviewing the three guests of honor – Lieutenant Dan Choi, former U.S. Representative and Widener Law alum Patrick J. Murphy ’99, and Daniel J. Hernandez Jr., who helped to save the life of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords – at Saturday’s International Equality Dinner.
