Program to Look at Fiduciary Duties at the Intersection of Federal Bankruptcy and State Corporate Law

FedBankruptcy2012 235On Monday, April 16th, Widener Law and its Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law will host “Fiduciary Duties at the Intersection of Federal Bankruptcy and State Corporate Law,” a daylong CLE beginning at 8:45 a.m. in the Ruby R. Vale Moot Courtroom.

The program will feature a wide variety of distinguished speakers in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate law, and members of the judiciary including Delaware Supreme Court Justices Randy J. Holland and Jack B. Jacobs; Judges Christopher S. Sontchi, Brendan L. Shannon, Kevin J. Carey, and Chief Judge Kevin Gross of the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware; Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster of the Delaware Court of Chancery; and Judge Jan R. Jurden of the Delaware Superior Court, Complex Commercial Litigation Division.

Attorneys from Delaware and Pennsylvania who attend the program will be eligible for seven continuing legal education credits (no ethics credits). The registration fee for attorneys who attend for credit is $100, and includes lunch and materials. Attendance is free for students not seeking continuing legal education credits, without lunch or materials.
