Widener Law has created new online programs designed to provide flexibility for those seeking to further their education while dealing with time constraints.
New online offerings include the LLM in Delaware Corporate Law and Finance
as well as a Graduate Level Criminal Law Certificate in Executive Leadership and Justice
. The new programs join Widener Law’s successful online Master of Jurisprudence programs
and Health Law

The LLM in Delaware Corporate Law and Finance
is aimed at attorneys abroad who want to add a specialty in Delaware corporate law to their skill set. The first class for the new LLM program begin this July, and the degree is designed to be earned over four semesters in two years. While attorneys with American law degrees are also welcome to enroll, the online format is intended to allow foreign students to advance their expertise in Delaware corporate law without the expense and disruption of travel.
A recent webinar with Associate Professor Paul Regan
, the associate director of Widener’s Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law

The new Graduate Level Criminal Law Certificate in Executive Leadership and Justice
, which commences in the Fall 2013 semester, is designed for non-lawyers seeking graduate-level management skills and training in order to pursue leadership positions in criminal justice related fields. The program is well suited to law enforcement professionals, border patrol officers, corrections officers, and security specialists as well as those working in transportation protection or military personnel looking to move into the civilian workforce.
