2010 Widener Law Legacy Award Winner Passes

A. Charles Peruto, Sr., who received a Widener Law Legacy Award in 2010, passed away in Media, PA on Tuesday, December 17th.

Peruto, a prominent Philadelphia-area defense attorney, received the legacy award for the role he played in helping the law school to receive ABA Accreditation in the mid-1970’s. In addition, Peruto taught as an adjunct faculty member on the Delaware campus from 1980 to 1994. Six members of his family over two generations have graduated from Widener Law.
