Evening program looks at Pennsylvania primary races

2013PUNDITSELECTIONSNEWSPROMO235PXThe Harrisburg campus will host an evening of punditry in anticipation of primary elections happening May 21 in Pennsylvania.

“Stated Opinions: Pennsylvania Politics from the Capitol Rotunda to City Hall” happens Tuesday, May 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in room A180 of the administration building. It is free and open to the public. Students are encouraged to attend.

Franklin & Marshall Professor of Public Affairs G. Terry Madonna will moderate. Panelists will include John Baer of the Philadelphia Daily News, and Pennlive/Patriot-News reporters Donald Gilliland, Robert Vickers and John Micek.

The discussion will center on primary races. Panelists are expected to proffer opinions on everything from the Harrisburg mayoral and other municipal races to contests for county and statewide offices.

The event is presented by the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS and PennLive/The Patriot-News.
